On Sunday, April 11th, was my mom's birthday! Her birthday request was to stroll about Oak Cliff at the Urban Street Bizarre and then dine at Tillman's Restaurant for dinner. Birthday Mission ACCOMPLISHED, well kinda. We made it down to Oak Cliff for the festival; strolling in and out of all the 'unique' shops and tents... Dad even paid the band to sing Happy Birthday to Little Debbie :) But as dinner approached, we realized Tillman's isn't open for din din on Sunday... bummer. So we hopped over to Bolsa, another Dallas gem, and celebrated (organically) with yummy brushetta, flat breads and burgers with a few organic margaritas thrown in there too... We ended the evening with some Pink Berry yogurt in uptown. It was a lovely day and the weather couldn't have been more perfect!
