Lonesome Dove Bistro

This weekend, we had the pleasure of going to the Lonesome Dove Bistro in Fort Worth with my parents. You may be wondering why the restaurant sounds so familiar (or not). The chef/owner; Tim Love, was recently a contestant on Top Chef Masters (a favorite TV show for the Lynn family)
Mom and Dad were in town for a car show for the weekend, so James and I made the short trip over to spend the evening with them. James of course picked the restaurant... he still hasn't quit talking about it. Besides the noisiness, the dinner was superb. Mom and I went "lite" with an acorn squash chile rellano and stuffed halibut; while Dad and James conquered the 32 oz. Kobe beef with lobster mac and cheese. Afterwards, mom and I made up for our "lack" of calories with a stop at a gourmet chocolate shop. :)
There was an actual breeze, which made a normal stifling August night quite enjoyable. So we wandered our way over to a local bar with a great cover band and had margaritas to cap off the night.
